Why is everything about golf so expensive?

Why is everything about golf so expensive?

Golf does a great job of making you question if it's really worth it. Emotionally, but mostly financially. After buying clubs and maybe a few range sessions, you've spent nearly $1,000 and still haven't even booked a tee time, which is at least another $50. Nothing is free in this world, but a highly accessible weekly activity, like golf, shouldn't have you liquidating the savings in such a way.

It is estimated that golfers spend an average of $500-$1000 a year on equipment, practice, and greens fees. With the recent surge in popularity of the game, this trend is only expected to continue going up!

That brings us to the mission of Groove Golf: don't let money get in the way of you playing this beautiful game. Basketball players need a basketball and a park court to play; that's about $20. Tennis players need a racquet and a court. Once again this is about $20. Obviously golf will never be a total of $20 to play, but the gap can certainly be closed.
